From where does IBEX get its power?

Solar Panels

The IBEX spacecraft uses sunlight as its power source. The solar panels are always pointed at the Sun as the spacecraft orbits the Earth. This is a close-up image of the solar panels. The red cap is covering one of IBEX's large thrusters.

IBEX uses solar panels to collect energy from the Sun. As the spacecraft spins, its solar panels continually point at the Sun to generate power. IBEX's solar panels generate between 60 and 110 watts of power, depending on the spacecraft's needs. At its peak power output, this would be enough to light one bright light bulb.
